 The Metrology process starts with an area or component where the need for precision measurement data is paramount. Laser scanning affords large amounts of accurate data without the risk of human error. Brooks utilizes the Leica line of laser scanning systems to produce the highest level of accuracy and detail achievable today. We are capable of scanning everything from individual components to entire industrial facilities, both inside and out.  Depending on the application, a variety of different scanning methods and tooling can be used. Data points are collected from a series of scans which result in an image much like the one to the left. Leica scanning technologies allow Brooks Metrology Service personnel to obtain from 50,000 to 1,000,000 measurement points per second allowing for un-matched precision dimensional accuracy. |
